In 2020, a locker room chat led to two friends deciding to partner in this business venture together. Combining their diverse yet distinct backgrounds in technology, finance and business, Founder Manish Methai and Co-Founder/CEO, Terry James set out to revolutionize the pet industry by developing a product that connected people through their shared love of pets.

During Summer 2021, they introduced Offleash'd to the broader pet community, at SuperZoo Pet Conference, with over 20,000 people in attendance. Emboldened by the feedback received on their new concept, they set out to start building their social community and propel Offleash'd forward to the launch of the app in Summer 2022. Offleash'd expanded to the Los Angeles market in Q1 2023 and plans to continue to bring Offleash’d to other major cities in 2024 and beyond.
